To wedding album or not to wedding album?

You probably remember the Wedding Album Ceremony. A family get-together, a pot of coffee, and a parent or grandparent disappearing upstairs with a knowing smile: "Now you just sit right there and I'll get the album." Where is it this time? On top of the wardrobe? Under the boxes in the spare room? Somewhere in the loft? Wherever it has been hiding, out it comes. Cue the close-up and the slow-motion puff of dust from the cover.

Are wedding albums a thing of the past?

We don't think so. We all photograph everything now, and Instagram, Facebook and YouTube all have their place, but they are not a replacement for a beautifully made album. Feeds move on and posts get buried. An album is still there, on the shelf, years later.

Files are not the same as a book

After your wedding you get your finished, full-resolution photographs on a USB stick, and with our Traditional and Luxury packages, a private online gallery too. They are perfect for sharing and safekeeping. But there is something about a book you can pick up and leaf through whenever you like, without charging a laptop or swiping through your phone, that files on a screen never quite match.

Your album, your way

We like to listen first and design with you. There is a huge range of sizes, covers and finishes to choose from, far too many to list here, and that is half the fun. It might be a traditional heavy, leather-bound album that comes out once a year, or a fresh, modern coffee-table book that never goes back on the shelf. Classic or contemporary, ornate or minimal, we will make something that is unmistakably yours.

Every album is different, so we quote albums and prints for each couple. See more about albums, or tell us what you have in mind.
